'Rodents' are a band based out of the Chicago suburbs by two friends, fresh out of high school. Nathan Smerage on lead guitar, and Jimmy Byrne on drums. This EP was originally recorded using a karaoke mic on the drum set, and an old-school dynamic microphone used to pick up the sounds from the guitar amp. It was recorded straight to a 4-track cassette tape recorder, giving it an extremely raw, lo-fi sound (which is exactly what was intended). Currently, the members of 'Rodents' are studying at two separate schools in the country, but will always remember the songs they wrote together as Rodents.
